“ Ruvo is the best! It's become my boyfriend and me's go-to spot for a nice date. The food is absolutely delicious--I've never had Italian food quite like this before. Everything is consistently amazing, and the service is always top-notch. They offer a variety of options for different diets and even picky eaters. The staff at Ruvo is fantastic and very accommodating. The ambiance inside is romantic and lovely, and the live music is the perfect touch, making it feel like something out of a romance movie. I highly recommend Ruvo to everyone! ”
“ Just had an amazing lunch at Ruvo. Their rice balls are to die for and I love their sauce. Service is always superior, today's server Max was great. My husband loved his penne vodka and I had the burger. Portions are huge and we had leftovers for home. A very cozy restaurant. Can't wait to return again! ”
“ Ambiance & service 5 stars. Pasta was delicious, wouldn't do the filet/steak again. Calamari was excellent! ”
“ Absolutely love this place! I always have the best food no matter what I order. The downside is that you do need to make reservations if you want to have dinner, especially on the weekends. This place fills up fast. If you are not interested in dining at a table, you can sit at the bar and order food too. But, it's a bit difficult to find available seating. Ambiance is slightly fancy. No need for gala dresses, but there are white table clothes. Perfect for date night! ”
“ I came here on a weekend evening and had my meal at the bar. I should have timed it better to hang out for the acoustic guitarist who started playing around when I got the check, but now I know they have live music! The bartender was nice and attentive, and I got a Guinness because that was the only dark beer they had, but it's always a good one. The bread that came out was good, but the oil and olives it came out with was unbelievably good!!! I took some to go and it was just stellar. The Eggplant & Prosciutto sandwich i got for my main was really good, too. The leftovers were good the extra day, too! ”
“ From the service to the food, this place never disappoints. Their salads are delicious and can be shared. While it's a little on the pricier side, the main dish portions are usually so big you'll get several meals out of one. They come up with some great cocktail creations, and the main seating area and bar are both super cozy spots for a nice dinner or just some drinks. Staff is always friendly, professional and helpful. Reservations recommended, it's a popular spot! ”
“ We came on a Sunday night after a show in the local theater. The food and service were great. Unfortunately, my husband uses a scooter and it was an issue getting him into the restaurant. They stated it was a historic building so they couldn't add a ramp. They could easily add a ramp onto the back patio and have access through the porch. Shame on them. They could also get longer portable ramps. They obviously don't need wheel chair users business. ”
“ I been to Ruvo's in Greenlawn, numerous times and finally made it to Port Jefferson. It Is bright and has a harbor feel to it. We were a party of four and all our food was delicious, from burgers, panini's to Orichette with sausage. Service was good and parking is not an issue. Ciao for Now. ”
